Frode Alfheim (Chair) 

Frode Alfheim was elected president of Industri Energi on the national congress in 2017. Before being elected president he served as vise president from 2010. Alfheim has worked within the norwegian trade union cofederation since the 1990s. He has been a political advisor in three different departments. His place of birth is Dønna in Nordland.

 

 

Gerd Kristiansen

Gerd Kristiansen is chair of the Norwegian People’s Aid and former president of the The Norwegian Confederation of Trade Unions (LO). Kristiansen is a licenced practical nurse.

 

 

 

Trine Lise Sundnes 

Trine Lise Sundnes is president of The Norwegian Union of Commerce and Office Employees (HK) and chairman of the United Nations Association of Norway. She has been a in the leadership of The Norwegian Confederation of Trade Unions and been in the board of the United Nations labour agency, ILO.

 

Atle Høie

Atle Høie is Assistant General Secretary of IndustriALL Global Union. He is previously International Secretary of Fellesforbundet, the Norwegian United Federation of Trade Unions. He is also the deputy chair of the Norwegian People’s Aid.

 

 

Haldis Holst

Haldis Holst is Deputy General Secretary of Education International where she is responsible for EI’s work in the areas of human and trade union rights, equality, and solidarity programs. Haldis Holst has been vice president of the Norwegian Union of Education.

Randi Gabric Bjørgen was the President of the Confederation of Vocational Unions (YS) from 1996 to 2006. Before this she held several key positions in the same organizationShe has vastexperience in the Nordic and international Trade Union movementand has served on numerous public boards and committees. Bjørgen has today project responsibility for a YSproject, supported by Noradin southern Africa.

Liv Tørres is CEO at the Nobel Peace center and former Secretary General of the Norwegian People’s Aid. Tørres has wokred in the research sector in the Institute for Labour and Social Research, Fafo, the University of Oslo and the Research Council of Norway. She also has a Ph.D. in political science on the trade union movement in South Africa. She has been an adviser to the trade unions and government bodies on issues of democratization and theorganization’s role, and was in 2011 Political Adviser to the Minister of Labour.
